Automatic sign out when completing assessments

When you choose to complete an assessment during session with a patient, by selecting This Device as the completion method, you can select whether or not you want to be signed out of your account. Here is what you need to know:

• Setting your preferences
• Choosing between automatic sign out and staying signed in
• What page patients will be sent to

Setting your preferences

• In Settings > Preferences scroll to Other Preferences, you can choose whether you prefer to be automatically signed out of your account when a patient completes an assessment using This Device as the completion method.
• Note that this sets your default preference, but you can still choose to select or de-select the checkbox asking whether or not you would like to be signed out of your account each time you complete an individual assessment (more on that below).

Choosing between automatic sign out and staying signed in

Each time you complete an assessment using This Device as the Completion Method, a checkbox will appear asking whether or not you want to be signed out of your account.

• If this box is not selected, you will not be signed out of your account once the assessment is completed.
• If this box is selected, you will be signed out of your account once the assessment is completed.

What page patients will be sent to

If you choose not to be automatically signed out of your account when completing an assessment, you will be taken back to the page where you triggered the assessments from. This can be either the main Patient List, or the Manage page for a specific client.

As a best practice, we recommend triggering assessments from the Manage page. This will ensure that after patients complete their assessments, they will be taken back to their Manage page, rather than your complete Patient List.
