Therapist Notification Center
The Notification Center is designed to keep providers informed of important client activity and clinical updates in real-time. Accessible via the bell icon in the navigation bar, the Notification Center surfaces key events such as new assessment results, missed assessments, client account activity, and shared notes or documents.
Each notification includes a clear call-to-action, allowing providers to quickly review results, manage assessments, or access client information as needed. This ensures timely follow-up and helps integrate important tasks into the provider’s workflow without disruption.
How Notifications Work
The Notification Center can be accessed by clicking the bell icon on the navigation bar:
Providers are notified immediately on the platform when the following events have occurred:
- New assessment results
- Missed assessments
- Patient indicated suicidality
- Patient shared with provider (coming soon)
- Patient created an account (coming soon)
- Patient shared a note or document (coming soon)
Each notification has the following corresponding action:
Notification | Corresponding Action |
---|---|
New assessment results | View new and previous assessment results |
New assessment results + suicidality | View new and previous assessment results, see which response was flagged for suicidality |
Missed assessments | View manage page to send another assessment or modify client’s existing assessment schedule |
Patient shared with provider | View profile to see more details about the patient, add any missing details from EHR as needed |
Patient created an account | Modify or assign assessments for the client |
Note shared with provider | View the note that was shared with the provider |
Document shared with provider | View the note which includes the shared document |
Managing Notifications
The Notification Centre allows users to stay organized by managing notifications through the following actions. These options become visible when you hover over a specific notification:
- Mark as read - Marks a notification as read and updates the unread count accordingly.
- Mark as unread - Reverts a read notification back to unread and adds it back to the unread count.
- Archive - Moves the notification to the Archived tab, removing it from the main view.
- Mark all as read - Marks all currently unread notifications as read in one click (always visible at the top of the Notification Centre).
Filtering Notifications
Users can filter their notifications by selecting one of the available tabs at the top of the Notification Centre:
- All - Displays every notification, including both read and unread.
- Unread - Displays only notifications that haven’t been read.
- Archived - Displays all notifications that have been archived.
Managing Notification Settings (Coming Soon)
Providers can soon manage their notification preferences in the Notifications section of their account settings. Users will be able to modify their settings by clicking Settings → Notifications from the profile menu or by selecting Manage Settings in the Notification Center. While most notifications are optional, new assessment result notifications are always enabled to support their practice of MBC.
